A very powerful vacuum cleaner

I recently purchased the Dyson DC21 canister vacuum cleaner, and at first I was a little apprehensive of purchasing it (mainly due to the very high price of the item), but after using the vacuum my apprehensions are now alleviated. This vacuum can suck the dirt and dust out of a carpet as if it was powered by the gravitational force of a black hole, yet it doesn't require significant force by the user to utilize the vacuum. I couldn't believe how much dirt and dust this vacuum removed from a "recently cleaned" carpet in a new house we moved into, it was as if the carpet was never really cleaned before.

Also, the product lives up to it claim of cleaning the air while you vacuum, as I'd always have allergic reactions after using my old Dirt Devil upright vacuum. Also, I would have thought the vacuum for as powerful as it advertised it was going to be, it was going to be as loud as a jet engine; however, it was much less noisy than my old Dirt Devil upright (which you could hear clearly outside of the house whenever it was used). Overall, the Dyson DC21 is a very good vacuum cleaner but it's not inexpensive; however, just like the old saying goes, you'll get exactly what you pay for.

Awesome!

 "This vacuum has major suction! It also handles very nicely around corners, it not heavy and cumbersome and is not overly loud. I would recommend this to anyone looking for high quality. It's a little pricey, but worth every penny!"

Totally Worth the $

"I had not intended on spending this much $ on a vacuum but we received gift cards for our wedding and I decided to put them to good use... and I am REALLY glad that I did. This vacuum is by far the best vacuum I have ever had. With a cat and a dog, this vacuum keeps my house clean top to bottom. It's easy to use, has great suction, and has taken things out of my carpet after I had just vacuumed with my old vacuum, which I previously thought did a good job. I recommend this vacuum to everyone!"

I love Dyson

"I didn't want to spend more than $300.00 on a vacuum, because my house is all carpet, I need a great vacuum. I did a lot of research and ended up buying and returning 5 vacuums!! Tried the dirt devil, Bissell, 2 hoovers and the infinity pet. Maybe I was incredibly unlucky - but each of the above had a major problem; from suction to trying to clean the units. I finally said the heck with the $300.00 budget, and bought the Dyson Canister. All I have to say is: If you want a clean house - get a Dyson! It picked up stuff all the others left behind - and believe me, I thought my carpets were super clean! I love my Dyson."

Good Purchase

"Had for over two years now. Use it to vacuum my carpet in condo at least once a week. WOW works great, you will see all that it picks up, via clear collection canister. Easy to clean and quite easy to store away. The entire unit quite heavy if you have to lift and carry, so if you have to do so, START doing arm curls. Very good product."

WOW

"The Dyson DC21 is the first product I've Bought in a long time that hasn't left me thinking why did I spend my money on this. It may be alot of money for a vacuum but it's worth every penny. The root cyclone technology is amazing, it keeps all the dust and everything right in the dust bin nothing seems to even reach the filter. The only downfall is the large wand and tools that don't lock in well. But when equipped with the motorized brush head, look out dust bunnies. This thing pulled out dust from carpets just vacuumed with a shark pursuit bagless upright. Good job Mr. Dyson thanks for an EXCELLENT product"
