Maybe I'm a little OCD about vacuuming, but I just think that makes me "qualified" to write a review right? I purchased this specific vacuum because our house is all wood floor with little rugs throughout. We have 3 dogs (who I don't even know how they still have fur on them because it seems like it's all over the house instead), 2 kids and one extremely untidy husband. This vacuum is PERFECT. The suction is amazing, emptying couldn't be easier, comfortable to use, not too difficult to put together...and let me just say, it looks cool too. I have been sucked (pardon the pun) into buying other less than stellar vacuums and I wish I would've saved my money and just bought this. It is worth the price. Definitely a good buy...
Pros: Easy to clean, well constructed, Comfortable, Stylish, excellent suction, excellent for bare floors, excellent for carpet
Cons: pricey (but worth it!!)

Great Vacuum
I researched thoroughly, and bought this model specifically designed for homes without carpet. I really like it overall. It does a great job of picking up pet hair and dirt with either of the dual mode or hardfloor attachments included. The canister is easy to clean, although the accumulated pet hair needs a nudge and does not just fall out. I love the length of both the hose and the cord. It just makes daily cleaning so much more convenient when it's not necessary to search out another outlet or place the unit on a stool to reach. About the only negative is the handle. I find it a little awkward to hold, and while I'm sure I'll get used to it, it is definitely not the most ergonomic design. I can't figure out how the wrap around storage works either, but for me it isn't at all important. All the parts seem built to last. There are no cheap plastic bits waiting to snap. Construction and connections are all very solid. The only extra I'm considering is the flat dusting brush which will facilitate cleaning Venetians and fan blades.
