A must have for pet owners!

So I'm a long time Dyson owner, this is the third one I've owned, and I couldn't do with out it. The reason for needing a more powerful one, would be the long haired four legged wonder that is our dog. The dog has this annoying habit of shedding every so often (I know! utterly inconsiderate). Anyway, our old Dyson no longer worked as well, and necessitated us 'moon walking' across the carpet to get all the fur off. Enter in our new Dyson, and six months of use, and it's a life saver! No longer is cleaning the carpet a chore.

The carpets are now clean, the dog is less nervous of the new Dyson, and calm is restored to our household.

Never bought a Dyson before, not buying anything else now!

I knew we needed a replacement vacuum cleaner for our old Vax but was reluctant to splash out on a Dyson due to cost, however I kept reading the reviews and eventually waited until the price came down on the DC23 Animal stowaway.

Our house is a mix of tiled floor, wooden floor and very light carpets (not our choice!) which show up every speck of dirt and which seem to be sticky in that cat hair and everything else seems to just stick solid. Our blue sofas get covered in white cat hair and it was getting difficult to keep them even vaguely clean - it was this that finally prompted us to get the Dyson Animal.

I've been using this now for about 5 months now.

Incredibly powerful suction that cleans even our light carpets and the amount of hair it picked up on the 1st hoover was just embarrassing! Good range of attachments that swap over between our 3 different floors and sofas. It gets about 95% of the cat hair up from the sofa, but I've yet to see any cleaner than does it all on the 1st go. It's designed to sit on the stairs as you vacuum, such a simple idea but so effective! The cord is quite long so I can easily vacuum between rooms without changing sockets.

I've read the other reviews and yes, this does have a plastic feel to certain parts, especially when you carry it round by the handle, however ours is bearing up and showing no signs that is a problem. The other reason we wanted this one is that we can stick it in a small cupboard! It packs down well and is just as easy to unpack when you want to use it. I would definitely recommend this Dyson, just be prepared to empty it a lot on the 1st clean of your house if you've had an ineffective cleaner before!

The best toy ever

I have used Dyson before from friends because when I was moving to a new house it was the best for cleaning and that's why I have treated myself with one for my new house.
It's great, floors, carpets, ceiling, heating, blinds... I'm so happy with my purchase I could recommend everybody to have one, it's expensive but it's worth it.
