I brought this to replace a much older Dyson, and it was about time too! This vacuum is not as heavy as I thought it would be, in fact it's lighter than it looks. It is pretty, and easy to use. I like the way the hose just pulls out the top and I highly appreciate the way you can store the attachments on the vacuum itself so you can use as and when you need them. I have also noticed the extra length in the power cord which is great. Any bad points? Well I've only had it a few weeks and as yet I can't really think of any!

Another great Dyson
Purchased this to replace an older Dyson that it had for about 7 years. It is a great hoover - It is reasonably light weight yet sturdy, has a good selection of cleaning attachments & is easy to empty and clean. It cleans the carpets and hard floor exceptionally well and having had two Dyson machines and being equally pleased with both I would not purchase any other brand.

Dyson DC27 All Floors Upright Vacuum Cleaner
A first class vacuum cleaner. Easy to operate and simple to empty waste from bag free container. This can be done with one hand. Very strong suction and with tools supplied on long expanding hose, it is easy to stretch to high or difficult to reach locations.
Another plus is the brush bar can be activated simply by pushing down with foot and beating brush stops rotating when cleaner is stationary. Glides with little effort over carpeted floors.
Only downside is that cleaner can be a little heavy to lift.

Swanfan
My new Dyson is brilliant the suction power is amazing this is the 2nd Dyson I have purchased my first was DC01 so it was a while ago. The only downside I have found is, it is a little on the heavy side. The upside however is fab though. The way the tools connect i like, the flex length is longer, you only have one filter to check, so useful when you have 3 different floor types like I have. I am delighted with this purchase.
