6 minutes of time for 3 hours of charging, sounded no good to me. However, if you have 6 minutes of powerful suction on a handheld vacuum, and for the sort of tasks you will use this little baby for, you would use it intermittently. This is the best item I have ever tried for those little jobs. The tools are great. There is a normal nozzle already attached and then the brush bit just slides down and clicks into place. Then you get a long nozzle for those awkward little distant problems. I have a dog and it deals with dog hair easily. It is very easy to empty.
This is pure Dyson at its best.

Very handy

As this cleaner is lightweight and cordless it can be maneuvered into action very quickly. It also gets into those tricky little spaces that other vacuums can't reach. Very handy for quickly dispensing with annoying bits of dust and fluff, etc on floors, worktops, furniture.... I have barely used my old upright since buying the Dyson handheld.

Dyson - simply the best

This is the most powerful handheld cleaner I have ever used.
It's great to have on hand to pick up little messes that don't require a large vacuum.
Slightly disappointed that when you pull out the nozzle for the brush attachment it doesn't seem as powerful.
But I would still highly recommend it.

FANTASTIC PIECE OF KIT

I read most of the reports and was concerned about the "five" minutes of "action" for 3.5 hours of charging. Don't worry about it if you are wanting to do the car, the staircase and small jobs. It is great. We have had ours for about two months now, we have never yet run out of charge, and I am sure that we have used it for well over five minutes at a time!

Charging never seems to be a problem; we use it, charge overnight and it is ready for the next day.

Suction is very good and if you have a car or a staircase that needs regular minor attention, it is a real boon.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
