The Janome Pro4DX is an exceptional serger, and can do a 2, 3 or 4 thread overlock stitch. You can adjust the differential feed ratio from .05 to 2.25 which gives you more control for different fabrics and effects.
Color-coded thread guides and a self-threading lower looper make threading a breeze. Just put your thread into the guide, use the switch and it will thread the lower looper.
Turning the balance wheel will return the guide to its normal position automatically. Thread tensions will automatically be released when you lift the presser foot for rethreading.
With the Pro4DX, you can quickly change to a rolled hem without changing the needle plate. The lower looper has a pre-tension stitch that saves you timewhen doing a rolled hem as you no longer need to change the tension.
